Dave contacted Heritage Fencing & Gates for a new Gate & Automation Installation to replace his existing old gates. Dave was looking for Iroko Hardwood gates, for more durability with an up-to date automation system.

Challenges

The gates were quite a distance from any power supply, so we needed to ensure that the access control system we installed was adequate. The gates were being hung upon 2 new brick piers, so we had to liaise with the bricklayer to ensure steels were installed correctly in the centre of the piers for the hinges for the gates to be attached.

Solution

Underground Motors: FAAC S800 CBAC 24v, ensuring a discreet look while offering robust operation.
Photocells: Incorporating two photocells enhanced the system's safety by preventing the gates from closing if an obstacle was detected.
Control Panel: A state-of-the-art control panel was put in place to manage the gate's functions efficiently.

Despite the entrance being located a considerable distance from the power supply, our team carefully planned the installation to ensure reliable operation. We also worked closely with the bricklayer during the construction of new brick piers to ensure steel supports were correctly positioned for the gates and automation equipment.

The system features FAAC S800 CBAC 24V underground motors for a discreet finish, dual safety photocells, a modern control panel, and an AES MON_11 touch monitor inside the property, allowing the homeowners to see and control access to their gates with ease.
