Stock fencing is one of the most economical types of agricultural boundaries available. It’s designed to keep livestock and pets in, or to keep unwanted animals out of your property, and is adaptable, strong and durable.
This style of fence is constructed using pressure treated softwood posts with wire lines or mesh.
At Heritage Fencing & Gates we can supply and install stock wire fencing for any size project, from metres to miles. Our stock wire mesh and wire netting is available in different specifications to suit a wide range of livestock and domestic pets, from chickens to horses and everything in between.

Key Features of Our Stock Wire Fencing
Why Choose Heritage Fencing & Gates?

Wire Netting Fencing
Wire netting or mesh fencing is ideal for keeping smaller livestock such as chickens or ducks contained and is suitable for domestic pets including dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. It’s also a good option for deterring the local wildlife from nibbling on your plants, fruit, and vegetables, in gardens, fields, and allotments.
Mesh netting is made from galvanised wire which is available in a variety of different sizes and weights, from 25mm mesh size for poultry, to the more general purpose 50mm mesh. Wood rails can be added across the top and bottom for additional strength.
Plain & Barbed Wire Fencing
Heritage Fencing & Gates also supply and install plain, barbed, or mixed wire fencing, which is a very cost-effective way to fence large perimeters of land. Ideal for keeping larger livestock in or to act as a deterrent to trespassers, this type of fencing is commonly used across agricultural, commercial, and domestic settings.
The advantage of the simple design is it that allows you to choose your desired height, and how many horizontal wires, either barbed or plain, would suit your application. Our plain and barbed wire is available in mild steel or high tensile, installed with your choice of pressure treated softwood posts for added durability.
